Psihoselect performs the recruitment and selection process for a partner company specialized in production, for the the following position:
PLANT MANAGER
LOCATION: BOTOSANI
Role: In order to meet the needs and expectations of the client, the Plant Manager guides the manufacturing function while staying within budget and output goals. Complete responsibility for ensuring that the standards for safety, customer quality, cost, and delivery are met from this position. Working closely with the Board of Directors of the company and the management team, the Plant Manager ensures that the company establishes appropriate goals, and manages its resources to meet these goals.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all operations within the company;
- Responsible for the basic performance in terms of quality, delivery safety and costs;
- Full P&L responsibility;
- Ensure we have the optimal balance between capacity, quality and sustainability to meet customer needs while remaining competitive;
- Ensure that all production processes are in accordance with customer requirements and economic performance;
- Create documentation protocols and ensure that all operations records are properly maintained;
- Provide the leadership needed to ensure continuing efficiency improvement via effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment;
- Responsible to implement standard processes and systems including reviewing and ensuring process optimization and operational excellence in collaboration with global teams;
- Ensure compliance on health and safety;
- Lead the expansion of capacity in Balkan Area to support the business needs;
- Support the structural changes needed in our subcontracting network: how to select, approve and implement new subcontractor network in Balkan Area;
- Ensure implementation of strategic and business development projects, project planning and execution;
- Keep continuous focus for high quality standards and delivery precision;
- Achieve the financial performance as set out in the strategy and yearly budget;
- Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency in production.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- 3+ years in management position, coordinating production segments/site;
- 8 + years working experience in industrial/production environment.
- Experience from multinational environment with focus on indicators and results;
- Preference for experience in textile, furniture, textile in automotive, cable production for automotive or similar, generally – labor intensive production environment;
- Preference for manufacturing experience, solid understanding of production processes and financial indicators;
- Proven track record of achieving operational and financial results;
- Ability to work operationally as well as strategically;
- Previous significant operational and project lead roles;
- Bachelor degree or above or equivalent with an academic level of working and thinking;
- Fluent in Romanian and English;
- Experience using ERP systems;
- Strong planning and executions skills;
- Collaborator, facilitator, and team player;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent communications and people skills;
- Self-driven and motivated;
- Availability to travel as needed.
