{"id":18512,"date":"2022-12-22T15:01:14","date_gmt":"2022-12-22T13:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psihoselect.ro\/uncategorized\/general-manager-operations-location-cluj-county\/"},"modified":"2022-12-22T15:01:14","modified_gmt":"2022-12-22T13:01:14","slug":"general-manager-operations-location-cluj-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psihoselect.ro\/en\/jobs\/general-manager-operations-location-cluj-county\/","title":{"rendered":"GENERAL MANAGER OPERATIONS &#8211;  Location: Cluj County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ro.linkedin.com\/company\/psihoselect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">Psihoselect<\/a> performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position:<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>GENERAL MANAGER OPERATIONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location: Cluj County<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role: <\/strong>Responsible to deliver customer requirements within market expected lead times with high quality product, produced in a safe and compliant work environment, where a culture of continuous improvement and project management is fostered and promoted within the organization.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the fulfilment of all customer demand within market expected lead time, quality and appropriate total cost;<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for the timely delivery of products sold and designed at best costs and with high and agreed upon quality;<\/li>\n<li>Promote a customer centric mindset to support the sales PV entities to ensure the Group EBIT margin targets are met;<\/li>\n<li>Lead, manage and develop employees on his subordination;<\/li>\n<li>Lead, coordinate and execute activities of the following departments: Operations (Production workshops, Maintenance, Industrialization, Programming), Supply Chain, Quality &amp; EHS and Service;<\/li>\n<li>Further develop the organization with highly motivated, well-educated and committed employees and a strong network team spirit;<\/li>\n<li>Analyze, develop and realize future investment needs into the infrastructure, machinery and layout and define best in class future solutions in collaboration with the Global Operations teams;<\/li>\n<li>Be in close contact with the other operations GM in the organization to ensure an alignment for standards and best practice approach;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and report KPI and action plans for all operations activities and projects;<\/li>\n<li>Align yearly budget with the GM and be responsible to respect and improve the Cost of Sales part of the budget, and gross margin;<\/li>\n<li>Comply with legal rules of Environment, Health and Safety;<\/li>\n<li>Participate, read and sign \u201cCCM\u201d and \u201cROI\u201d;<\/li>\n<li>Lead continuous-improvement process in all departments by means of improving the organizational setup and workflows. Push for standardizing and\/or optimizing in global sourcing. Ensure that all departments are utilized effectively and efficiently;<\/li>\n<li>Promote a professional project management culture;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and support the implementation of more efficient technical, organizational procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Promotes agility and flexibility in the organization and in the processes;<\/li>\n<li>Identify cost saving potential in local purchasing, machining, assembly and logistics;<\/li>\n<li>Establish cost-savings goals and milestones together with team and monitor progress until completion;<\/li>\n<li>Play key and unbiased role in \u201cMake or Buy\u201d analyses and decisions;<\/li>\n<li>Taking part in risk assessments during the sales process for offers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>+ 10 years of experience as an Executive in the Operations Management of a machinery manufacturing firm, with relevant experience and skills in establishing and reorganizing an operation unit;<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or related fields;<\/li>\n<li>Solid management and leadership skills, with at least 10 years of experience in a management role leading and developing employees;<\/li>\n<li>Solid business and technical acumen, with customer-orientation and entrepreneurial spirit;<\/li>\n<li>A strong background in manufacturing and assembly firms, ideally small to medium-sized, with specific machining and engineering-to-order subsystems is highly desired;<\/li>\n<li>The ability to communicate fluently in Romanian and English verbally and in writing is essential;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate in a Global\/Matrix organization;<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in modern methods of improving workflows and processes (Lean, Kaizen, Continuous improvement process, 5S, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>International experience or background working in a worldwide group matrix is required;<\/li>\n<li>Some experience in quality management and EHS highly desirable;<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on and assertive team-player, with results-oriented and cost-conscious management style;<\/li>\n<li>Focused on results and execution-oriented person;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to cope with stress and multiple tasks;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with all levels;<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to plan, organize, and prioritize;<\/li>\n<li>Good fit with medium-sized company culture;<\/li>\n<li>Independent and resolute decision-maker with understanding of corporate guidelines;<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of accountability and of making and keeping commitments;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to keep the overall view while also the ability to do deep dives when needed;<\/li>\n<li>Some experience in the application of ERP \u2013 based methods needed, SAP \u2013 represents an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/psihoselect.ro\/joburi\/\"><strong>For more information:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Psihoselect Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>E-mail:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:recrutare@psihoselect.ro\">recrutare@psihoselect.ro<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mobile:<\/strong>\u00a00746 188 012<\/p>\n<div class=\"social-box\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position: GENERAL MANAGER OPERATIONS Location: Cluj County &nbsp;
