Psihoselect<\/a> performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position:<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL DIR<\/strong>ECTOR<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Role<\/strong>: The technical director\u2019s responsibilities include understanding project goals and developing plans and work schedules that will achieve them. You will coordinate engineering activities in the organisation, defining the policy in terms of product development, quality, industrial and general methods.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Essential Functions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Define rules and methods in order to guide the product development, in collaboration with the sales and marketing team and the know-how of the company existing in production area;
\n\u2022 Build up strategies to standardize and reduce unnecessary costs and time for engineers to complete their projects;
\n\u2022 Define quality standards and build up the organisation and methods to reach these standards;
\n\u2022 Ensure organizational alignment on the overall execution of the company’s short- and long-term strategic objectives and business plans;
\n\u2022 Define the industrial policy in terms of industrial process, automation and machines and build up the organization;
\n\u2022 Monitor and measure the benefits of post process implementation to ensure product quality, efficiency, and improvement;
\n\u2022 Lead the industrial and facility transformation and evolution;
\n\u2022 Build up an experienced and skillful technical and engineering team, by defining the organisation, recruiting, training and animating them;
\n\u2022 Direct, manage and maintain contact with internal and external clients\/customers;
\n\u2022 Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field;
\n\u2022 Apply the company decisions in the department and insure diverse missions.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 + 5 years relevant working experience in a leadership position in production companies;
\n\u2022 Extensive plant level experience, with significant proven management experience;
\n\u2022 Experience of production\/ industrial management and control;
\n\u2022 Experience in product management and development;
\n\u2022 In-depth knowledge of process improvements;
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in technical field;
\n\u2022 Fluent in English, both orally and in writing, French language knowledge represents an advantage;
\n\u2022 Ability to analyze, identify issues and propose solutions;
\n\u2022 Inspirational leader and motivator of people;
\n\u2022 Positive, result-driven and hands-on attitude;
\n\u2022 Good organizational and time-management skills;
\n\u2022 Availability for travelling \u2013 customer visits.<\/p>\n
