The position will entail working on a variety of structural evaluation, repair, and design projects, with focus on telecommunication projects\/towers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervises technical telecommunication projects located throughout the Group;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate structural, and mechanical designs projects and determine the best solutions and plans;<\/li>\n<li>Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on the project designs;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the team in drawing using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations, and structures;<\/li>\n<li>Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings, and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data;<\/li>\n<li>Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reports;<\/li>\n<li>Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials;<\/li>\n<li>Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quantity of required materials;<\/li>\n<li>Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Determine quality, cost, strength, and quantity of required materials, and enter figures on materials lists;<\/li>\n<li>Calculate weights, volumes, and stress factors and their implications for technical aspects of designs projects;<\/li>\n<li>Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data to ensure that they conform to design concepts;<\/li>\n<li>Check the projects made by the team members before they are sent to the beneficiary;<\/li>\n<li>Is involved in research and development activity aimed at expanding and optimizing the metal structures;<\/li>\n<li>Carries out the foundation calculations in case of new construction of pillars;<\/li>\n<li>Check similar previous projects to identify the particularities of the area in which the construction is to be executed;<\/li>\n<li>Makes the calculation notes for the foundation and for the metal structure in case there are no more works in the respective area;<\/li>\n<li>Check the calculation of metal structures to support new or existing antennas (pillars, braced masts or atypical structures);<\/li>\n<li>Transposes metal structure calculations into foundation plans;<\/li>\n<li>Provides technical assistance to customer representatives;<\/li>\n<li>Identify together with the Suppliers the best partners for the execution of metal fabrication;<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with all the departments from the Group;<\/li>\n<li>Provides reports to the general management being part of the Group roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years of experience in structural project design, knowledge in telecom technologies and deployment represents an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>+2 years\u2019 experience in coordinating a team in technical project;<\/li>\n<li>A successful university degree with focus on Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical or similar;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build strong relations with internal and external partners to support infrastructure deployment and solid communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Broad knowledge of structural engineering, drawing production skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD and structural modeling software;<\/li>\n<li>Conversational English and French knowledge;<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functioning in a fast-paced environment;<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively;<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, self-starter, able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests as well as collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying high quality solutions;<\/li>\n<li>Proficient to advanced skill with computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/psihoselect.ro\/joburi\/\"><strong>For more
