The role focuses on acquiring, penetrating, managing and retaining customers in a regional marketplace. Being sales and performance driven with dedication to achieving team goals will be critical to the success of our overall business.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cultivate and support new business growth in the assigned territory for the paper industry;<\/li>\n<li>Customize targeted benefits and effectively trial and sell the company products and value propositions to the pulp and paper industry;<\/li>\n<li>Provide ongoing account management and service to the customers, including educating and consulting with customers to manage ongoing product use;<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with other members of company field sales\/service group, product management, production, logistics personnel, and management on issues relating to the development of products and all aspects of customer support;<\/li>\n<li>Call on clients at the staff and management levels ranging from researchers &amp; lab technicians, to process engineers &amp; operations staff, to maintenance &amp; facilities managers, to professional purchasing agents and corporate executives;<\/li>\n<li>Manages pipeline proactively, recognizing customers&#8217; stage in the decision cycle, maintains appropriate level of new opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Expand geographical coverage through new channel relationships and customers;<\/li>\n<li>Lead field service \/ trial teams at your customer sites. The company\u2019s trials are typically supported by 4-5 people so others will join in your trials. You will also join in trials in other countries, both for support and since this is highly valuable training;<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s expected to travel to customer sites as needed, with travel likely each week. It would be expected to be at a customer size 3-4 days per week with week-long trials involving on-site engagement throughout the period.
