Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in the production field for the following position:
IT MANAGER
Location: Mureș County
Role: The IT Manager defines and drives the IT strategy to ensure reliable infrastructure, data security, and alignment with business goals. They lead the IT team, manage projects and budgets, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This role is key in promoting technological innovation and operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies aligned with long-term business goals, ensuring IT supports company growth and operational efficiency;
- Align IT initiatives with production, sales, and operational objectives to ensure technology supports overall company growth;
- Monitor technological trends and industry advancements, evaluating and integrating new technologies to keep the company at the forefront of innovation;
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance;
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise IT projects from initiation through completion, applying best practices in project management to meet deadlines and budget constraints;
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners;
- Lead negotiations and collaborate effectively with senior management, external partners, and vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives;
- Manage the IT budget and resources efficiently, optimizing costs while ensuring strategic investments in technology;
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations, safeguarding company information and infrastructure.
- Develop proactive network troubleshooting strategies to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs;
- Respond promptly to IT incidents, driving fast resolution to minimize business disruptions;
- Collaborate closely with other department leaders to assess IT needs, support operational demands, and facilitate cross-functional communication and projects.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 5 years of relevant in IT management, preferably within the manufacturing industry;
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, software development, cybersecurity, and data management;
- Leaderships and communications skills in order to inspire, motivate and develop an effective IT team;
- Strategic mindset, adaptability to change, strong sense of responsibility and well-founded decision-making that earns the trust of both team and management;
- Strong abilities of negotiation skills to manage vendor contracts;
- Conversational English;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Studies – Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics or related.
