Establishment of Psihoselect
The recruitment market in Romania was still in formation, but we started with a lot of enthusiasm, in a small team and with the desire to grow. From the beginning, we aimed to bring value to the candidates and companies we interact with.
Industry obstacles
In 2006, we encountered the challenges of a market with high economic growth, but one in which there was a mismatch between salaries, professional training, and candidates’ experience.
New Beginnings
Our drive for better results has led Psihoselect to a new stage and the launch of a headhunting service. Now, both candidates and employers are more focused and committed to delivering top quality.
Loyal Clients
We received confirmation of our top position among executive search companies through recurring clients, whose number exceeded that of new clients. New recruitment and headhunting projects started with a quick request via email or phone.
Efficiency
We have aimed to bring added value to our partners by optimizing the delivery time of projects. Experience has helped us understand how important it is for a company that the sought manager is hired at the right time.
The Concept of CRM
With the desire to help candidates optimize their skills, we have introduced the concept of Candidate Relationship Management. Thus, each candidate who has gone through a recruitment process alongside Psihoselect will be more aware of their competencies and the areas where they could develop
The beginning of the Pandemic
The pandemic has redefined the way of working—hybrid, remote, onsite, and borderless work have become the new variables in defining jobs. Safety and predictability have become essential elements in candidates' requirements.
Post-pandemic Economic Growth
Post-pandemic economic growth is accompanied by increased attention to hiring people with the necessary skills, in a market redefined by the requirements of both consumers and candidates.
Hybrid Model
The hybrid model remains a requirement for candidates, especially for "office jobs," but has been reduced as an offer from companies. The impact on teamwork and social skills is leading companies to request a gradual return to offices.
Economical Uncertainty
Economic uncertainty imposes clear questions: “Who do we hire? Do we need a paradigm shift?”, “Does she/he have the necessary skills?”, “How do we redefine ourselves with the new team built?”, “What new services/products do we build?”, “Which new markets do we enter?”
Our Beliefs
At Psihoselect, we believe that people can perform when they are in the right context: a business that provides direction, mature feedback, a strong work ethic, and space for growth. That is why we build performance through everything we do — we identify leaders with real potential, provide strategic labor market insights, intervene in team dynamics to address blockages, and use psychological assessments to create cohesive, predictable, and results-oriented teams.

About Us
We at Psihoselect have been building smart solutions since 2001, based on my experience, Claudia Indreica, as a psychologist, PhD in organizational psychology, Headhunter, and CEO & Co‑Founder, with over two decades of practice in strategic recruitment, leadership assessment, psychological profiling, and organizational and team transformation interventions.
I founded Psihoselect with the desire to bring professionalism, clarity, and objective criteria to a constantly evolving labor market. For me, understanding people and organizations is the foundation of any real performance. This principle continues to guide us today.
We believe that performance starts with understanding people and context. That is why every project—whether strategic recruitment, a market study for investments, a behavioral change workshop, or a psychological assessment—is designed to generate real, predictable, and measurable impact.
We are a team that works with care, rigor, and transparency because we know that the right people can change the direction of a business. Our role is to identify them, understand them, and integrate them where they can create the most value.
What drives us?
We are motivated by clarity— in roles, decisions, expectations, and the alignment between people and the environments where they can perform. We believe that when you understand the context, culture, team dynamics, and objectives, you can build solutions that truly work.
Every project we deliver is designed to achieve visible results: high-performing leaders, effective teams, sound investment decisions, and behaviors that transform the way work gets done.
We promote and develop excellence within communities

FAQ (Frequently asked questions)
Why did you choose to combine psychology with business as early as 2001?
Because business is, essentially, a set of human interactions. We believe that numbers are the result of thinking patterns and behaviors. Our motivation was to bring scientific rigor and objectivity where, very often, decisions were made “by instinct.” We are driven to transform intuition into predictive data.
What motivates us at Psihoselect?
We aim for a labor market where people operate in their optimal performance context. What motivates us is clarity: seeing leaders who understand their impact, teams that communicate without blockages, and organizations that grow sustainably because they have placed the right person in the right role.
We believe in an economy where people are supported to work—not hindered from doing so.
“Work provides dignity. It increases our self-esteem, makes us feel valuable, and that we contribute value to society.” — Claudia Indreica
What differentiates the Psihoselect approach?
What sets us apart is our way of thinking and the depth of our analysis. We don’t work only with CVs and processes, but with a deep understanding of people and organizations. We combine organizational psychology with business reality, using scientifically validated data and rigorous market research to build solutions that work long term.
Good decisions are calibrated to the real culture and dynamics of the team within the business context, and our partners replace assumptions with concrete evidence.
How has Psihoselect’s vision changed over 25+ years of experience?
We started with recruitment, but evolved alongside the market. Today, we are long-term partners. We’ve learned that hiring is only the first step; real value appears when you intervene in team dynamics, correct behaviors, and help leaders navigate periods of crisis or transformation.
What does a “successful project” mean to you?
Success is not just signing a contract or closing a project. For us, success means measurable impact: a team that becomes autonomous, a leader who reduces staff turnover, or a foreign investment that successfully adapts culturally in Romania thanks to the data we provide.
How involved are we in understanding the client’s business? Why do we insist so much on clarity? What don’t we do?
Our involvement begins with a deep understanding of the context: industry, objectives, challenges, organizational culture. Without this step, we don’t build solutions.
Lack of clarity is costly, leading to poor decisions, mismatched people, and dysfunctional teams.
We do not offer quick solutions without context, and we do not recommend people or decisions we don’t believe in. We prefer to say “no” rather than deliver something superficial.
What does working with us look like in practice?
Everything starts with an open dialogue where we focus on understanding your specific context. We don’t just talk about a situation, but about organizational culture, business objectives, and what defines a high-performing team.
How do you build partnerships with your clients?
Through ethics, transparency, and consistency. Every decision or recommendation we make is explained and grounded, and feedback is always honest—even when it’s uncomfortable.
This responsibility aligns with our principles regarding leadership maturity and the labor market:
“Protecting an underperforming employee means punishing a high-performing one.” — Claudia Indreica
How do we help teams overcome communication and performance blockages?
Through interventions that go beyond symptoms. We analyze psychological dynamics, uncover root causes, and calibrate behaviors so that the team functions as a coherent organism.
“Work is what places us in situations where we can learn… it is the tool we use to learn and rebuild ourselves.” — Claudia Indreica
How do we approach change in organizations?
We don’t treat it as a procedure, but as a human process. We work with behaviors, cultural realities, resistance, and motivations. That’s why the changes we support are sustainable, not cosmetic.
“Some companies go through adjustment phases, but they must ensure the organization continues to perform.” — Claudia Indreica
