Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position:
PPD & MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Location – Satu Mare
Role: Lead the site PPD and Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Responsible for planned to schedule creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
Essential Functions:
• Contribute to the implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, engineering processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance according to the business needs;
• Contribute to new projects transfer, review and communicate the impact on PPD and Maintenance activities;
• Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works;
• Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site;
• Assign and coordinate the tasks related to the introduction of new processes/projects within the site;
• Leads, tracks, follows up and monitors project activities to ensure alignment with expectations and agreed-upon timeline;
• Oversee planning, execution and closure of all Engineering/Feasibility/Optimization phase activities;
• Provides support as needed to Technical and Production during the PreValidation/Validation/Stability phase, including review of process validation documents;
• Overall support to all company functions as needed during the course of the project;
• Provides support as needed to potential and existing clients/internal clients until time of the production transfer to the new location;
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors;
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
• Implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively;
• Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime;
• Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management;
• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken;
• Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required;
• Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure;
• Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties;
• Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions;
• Produce written reports and make presentations to the management team;
• Undertake continuous training and development for him and his team;
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems in team with production coordinator;
• Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance;
• Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
• 3-5 years relevant working experience in engineering roles with a very strong
leadership component;
• Extensive plant level experience with significant proven management experience;
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical field;
• Fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
• Working knowledge in mechanical/ electrical/ electronic discipline;
• Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain;
• Good SAP Systems knowledge, MS Office package;
• Excellent leadership and management skills;
• Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members;
• Support encourage and develop team and take ownership for team;
• Positive result driven and hands on attitude.
