“I wanted the administration to stop working for itself to exist, but to work for the citizens. Oradea was a gray city. For 5 years we gave the people of Oradea facilities: loans and exemptions for the rehabilitation of facades and buildings. But it didn’t work. When we doubled taxes for those who didn’t renovate facades, things started to work. There are management mechanisms also in the public system.”, Ilie Bolojan, President of the County Council, Bihor.
