Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in services for the following position:
HEAD OF SHARED SERVICES
Location – Cluj-Napoca
Role: Head of Shared Services provides leadership, direction and vision in the development, implementation and delivery of a substantial shared service portfolio of activity, high performance and comprehensive integration and coordination of these activities with a strategic client focused, service excellence delivery orientation.
Essential Functions:
- Working with key stakeholders in the leadership team to ensure the company is utilizing the Shared Services function in the most cost-effective manner;
- Recommending the guiding design and future strategy for the company and putting this into practice in a cost-effective and consistent manner;
- Continuously looks to identify opportunities to bring processes into the Shared Services function (whether Romania or elsewhere) to drive efficiencies and free up local resources;
- Although not directly responsible for the Technology team located in Romania, The Head of Shared Service will work with the key stakeholders in UK and Australia to ensure best optimization and day-to-day people and process issues, as well as ongoing recruitment into the team;
- Work with key stakeholders to develop a clearly defined, Group wide process for the allocation of tasks to Shared Services;
- Establishes and implements KPIs; Ensures appropriate tools are in place to provide clear reporting at both a local level (e.g. for individual performance) and Group level (e.g. to identify opportunities to further streamline processes);
- Implement a clear and comprehensive training program for all staff;
- Regularly report back to key stakeholders on instances of non-compliance with Shared Services procedures;
- Work with key stakeholders in all jurisdictions to ensure local compliance and regulatory matters are dealt with efficiently and effectively;
- Preparing the Shared Services function to support new geographies as the company expands;
- Wherever possible, ensure and recommend changes in procedures to ensure uniformity in how like for like tasks are performed by Shared Services across the different geographies that the company operates within;
- Provide leadership for the employees within the Shared Services division. Ensure the company culture and values are always adopted within the Shared Services function;
- Work with key stakeholders to manage and rectify any issues impacting culture and morale within the Shared Services function.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 10 years relevant working experience in multinational environment;
- +5-year previous experience in a management role – department level in shared service centers/ HR leading role/ start-up type company;
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields, additional business-related studies, postgraduate level;
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
- Very good working knowledge with indicators related service type activity;
- Big fan of tech tools used in business;
- Positive result driven and hands on attitude;
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience with an ability to inspire, and coach team members as well as lead strategic initiatives to meet business outcomes;
- Customer Obsessed: Passion for consistently providing our customers with great experiences, showing empathy and placing the customer at the center of everything we do;
- Problem Solving: An aptitude for problem solving, critical thinking and a passion for continuous improvement;

- Commercial Acumen: Strong Commercial acumen, with the ability to deeply understand key performance drivers and take a data informed approach to meet business objectives;
- Change Management: Experience in change management with an ability to effectively communicate and implement operational changes within the business;
- Drive: Have a tenacious nature, a high achievement drive and be results driven;
- Process improvement: the ability to review current processes and ensure they are efficient and fit for purpose.
