Psihoselect is recruiting for a partner company, specialized in construction/infrastructure:
PROJECT MANAGER/SITE MANAGER
Main Projects Locations: CJ/TM/BH
Role: Responsible for taking over the site (checking the situation in the field, making preliminary measurements, highlighting any technical problems, and discussing them with the Manager. Moreover, it organizes, and schedules the work on-site and manages the operational safety plan.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the supply of materials to the site and issue the necessary orders based on contracts and internal procedures;
- Ensure quality parameters in accordance with customer requirements;
- Manage and track material inputs and outputs from the site;
- Check and approve the execution of materials in accordance with the provisions of the specification;
- Account ongoing works, in order to draw up payment certificates to the beneficiary along with the Chief Engineer;
- Manage customer complaints;
- Execute final measurements in order to hand over the executed works and works of the site;
- Manage site closure procedures, return of excess materials and removal of all residues from the site;
- Responsible for compliance with the budgets established together with the Chief Engineer;
- Respects the schedule of works;
- Responsible for the quality of works in accordance with customer requirements;
- Check and assume all technical documentation provided. Follow the execution of works only after the last revision of plans;
- Properly archives all documentation related to the project according to internal procedures. Physical and electronic;
- Check the monthly timesheet for subordinate staff and send it to the Human Resources department;
- Maintain the relationship with the Local Coordinator;
- Propose optimization of solutions either in execution or in order to increase the quality of work/reduce execution costs and/or execution times;
- Notice any errors identified in the project and asks the designer for clarifications and/or issuing technical solutions;
- Check the new technical solutions together with the Projects Managers Coordinators, Chief Engineer and Client in order to comply with the costs and the contractual basis;
- Actively participates in drawing up/updating the execution schedule and monitors its observance;
- Follows the execution schedules of own personal and machinery, subcontractors and delivery schedules of suppliers. Checks their compliance with the contracted execution deadlines, respectively the sequence of their activities to avoid possible blockages/overlaps in execution;
- Check the work situations of subcontractors/suppliers from a quantitative and qualitative point of view;
- Check the project and its quantity lists and actively participates together with the Chief Engineer in drawing up requests for tenders in order to contract the execution of works;
- Coordinate and supervise together with the Foreman the activity of own personnel, machinery and subcontractors on site;
- Follow compliance with the specifications of the technical execution project;
- Responsible for the application of provisions and measures regarding safety and health at work and PSI norms within the site;
- Responsible for managing the technical and administrative aspects of the site;
- Collaborate with designers, subcontractors and state institutions encouraged to participate in verifications;
- Prepare monthly progress reports of works execution and presents the planning of works for the next month.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- At least 3 years experience Project Manager, Site Manager, Senior Site Engineer or similar positions;
- University Degree in Technical Fields that are related to construction/infrastructure domain – Railways, roads and bridges specialization is an advantage;
- Conversational level of English (German language is a plus);
- Person with initiative, dynamic, focused on achieving goals and able to meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills and active listening;
- Coordination capacity of the subordinate team;
- Planning and organization skills;
- Knowledge of legal norms in the field;
- Good knowledge of using MS Office and AutoCAD;
- Willing to travel within the country.
