Psihoselect is conducting the recruitment process for a well-established company operating in the industrial manufacturing sector, recognized for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and high-quality standards, for the position of:
SALES ENGINEER
Location: Cluj / Bihor County
Role: Responsible for developing, presenting, and responding to proposals tailored to specific customer requirements, including requests for proposals (RFPs) and industry-specific solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations that clearly explain products or services to customers and prospective clients.
Essential Functions:
- Master the principles and methods of presenting, promoting, and selling products and services, including consultative selling;
- Identify new prospects and communicate new product and service opportunities;
- Analyze market potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers to the company;
- Develop and expand the market for the company’s product portfolio;
- Identify B2B clients in the assigned territory and apply a consultative sales approach;
- Negotiate and close contracts with B2B clients; achieve set targets (orders, sales, and profit);
- Identify resale opportunities and support colleagues to meet their sales objectives;
- Review daily sales reports to effectively manage and handles sales activities;
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in accordance with company procedures;
- Deliver technical presentations that clearly explain products and services to customers and prospects;
- Organize product demonstrations and trial installations;
- Visit prospective clients in relevant industries to present instruments and provide information on product features, pricing, availability, and benefits;
- Recommend improved materials or equipment, highlighting how such changes can reduce costs or improve efficiency;
- Effectively use available tools and resources, such as the CRM platform;
- Accurately and timely report activities in CRM Platform for a better traceability for further sales processes.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 2 years experience in technical sales or related fields, a strong background in technical sales represents a major advantage;
- Proven experience in B2B sales of technical solutions, industrial equipment, laboratory equipment and consumables tailored to the needs of manufacturing and production facilities;
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Conversational level – English;
- Communicate effectively and openly with both the team and customers, adapt easily, set clear priorities, and coordinate well with other departments;
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, analytical thinking, and organized working system;
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs and other relevant programs – CRM, ERP type programs;
- Positive result driven and hands-on and self-starter attitude.
