Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position:
CONTROLLING MANAGER
Location â Mures County
Role: Leads the entire control team, overseeing all activities. The Controlling Manager plays an important role in the business by controlling the finance department for the purpose of developing efficiency with a view of optimizing the businessâs profitability. He ensures that all financial activities, records, and indicators in the business accurately represent the businessâs financial state of affairs.
Essential Functions:
⢠Responsible for providing reports on the performance of the sites, getting involved in defining action plans;
⢠Acting as member of the management committee;
⢠Coordinating the controlling team (3 persons);
⢠Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed;
⢠Analyze areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of organizations;
⢠Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts when needed;
⢠Prepare reports and recommended solutions to questionable financial conditions;
⢠Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data;
⢠Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, according to the projects they are allocated;
⢠Provide direction and assistance regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources;
⢠Monitoring product profitability;
⢠Supervise the overall internal reporting, analyzing the costs and relevant indicators;
⢠Performs financial analysis and other activities to support the development of financial business plans, budgets and forecasts for medium to long term periods within a complex and / or high-risk business area;
⢠Monitors financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met;
⢠Monitor investment and ROI requests;
⢠Provide support to the management team on overall performance (commercial, industrial, fixed costs, etc.);
⢠Involved in defining, implementing, and monitoring projects and action plans;
⢠Prepares the annual budget, revisions, business, and strategic plans;
⢠Participates in the elaborations of business and strategic plans of various business development projects;
⢠Determine depreciation rates to apply to capitalized items and advise management on actions regarding the costs;
⢠Supporting the sales department in achieving its objectives;
⢠Provide assistance in the development of pricing policy.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
⢠Bachelorâs Degree in finance/ economics or related discipline;
⢠+5 years of experience in a similar controlling/business analyst position;
⢠+3 years of experience in management roles, within an industrial/production environment;
⢠Demonstrated and proven experience as head of controlling department for multiple sites;
⢠Proficiency in English, French represents an advantage;
⢠Knowledge of Navision program is a plus;
⢠Excellent leadership and management skills;
⢠Positive result driven and hands-on attitude;
⢠Excellent organizational & analytical skills.
