Psihoselect is recruiting for a group of companies, specialized in offering services and products in automotive field, for the following position:
NATIONAL SALES DIRECTOR
LOCATION: BUCHAREST/ CLUJ
Role: Ensures the business development strategy and profitability by hiring, training, and measuring the performance of KAM and establishing customer-focused sales standards. Plan and coordinate the trucks sales to B2B customers, coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories (including the development of neighboring countries), quotas, and goals and establish training programs. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the needs of customers (products and services), ask for information from marketing and customers care departments to develop the customer portfolio.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement the sales strategy by working with KAM teams including owning and driving key initiatives and projects;
- Partner with KAM to formulate and develop regional/segment business plans and to constantly evolve go-to-market strategies;
- Identify opportunities to improve go-to-market efficiencies and lead efforts to scale, align and invest in the business;
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, as well as projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products, according to the targeted B2B market;
- Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans and strategies to increase market penetration within region;
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by being aware of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors;
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand;
- Participate in annual sales strategy planning for new trucks;
- Develop annual sales quotas for KAM and sales partners for new trucks and machines;
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers for Romanian market but also development of regional market (neighboring countries);
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements;
- Prepare and manage an annual operating forecast and budget for the used-vehicle segment;
- Review market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential;
- Develop sales campaigns to accommodate the goals for new trucks and used vehicles;
- Ask but also gather information from group online marketing and customer care departments to develop new leads but also to improve the services and products delivered according to customers care input;
- Anticipate according to the information received from statistics (external and internal) delivery of purchases trucks as trade-in program and prepare the new sales items;
- Track results of auction purchases and compares gross profits from auction vehicles with those of trade-ins;
- Analyzes sales history and local area trends to determine the best purchasing mix;
- Track customer interest in vehicles not in stock;
- Keep abreast of current new trucks market and current valuation of used vehicles;
- Maintain national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees;
- Maintain national sales staff work results by counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results;
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies;
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 5 years of experience as Sales strategic leadership role with proven track record of positive sales performance;
- Background in auto industry/industrial equipment’s and machines/ high value products;
- Strong history in sales department development and the ability to build a motivated and results driven team;
- Customer-focused, outgoing problem solver with the ability to work independently and provide high-level leadership to the sales organization;
- BSc degree in relevant field;
- Hands on experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite and ERP type tools;
- Proficiency in English;
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics;
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills;
- Strong communication and team management skills;
- Analytical and data driven problem solver;
- Availability to travel as needed.
