Psihoselect is recruiting for a multinational partner company, specialized in production for the following position:
FINANCIAL MANAGER
Location – Brasov
Role: The role of a Financial Manager will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting and Group relationship. As a key member of the companies management will report to the company General Manager and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for analyzing, planning and controlling the company’s financials;
- Treasury and liquidity management including forecasting and applications for additional funds;
- Optimize the use of capital and monitor compliance with credit limits;
- Take care of the organization, management and control of the financial-accounting activities, which ensures the compliance of the accounting according to the Romanian law (HBI)and adjustments to Group accounting Guideline according German HGB (HBII);
- Manage the financial resources necessary to achieve the objectives and to propose options for financial optimization (e.g. Working Capital);
- Ensure the elaboration of studies and analyzes regarding the profitability of the activities, the efficiency of the use of the working capital, the evolution of the money accumulations, of the structure of the material expenses and of other economic-financial indicators;
- Ensure the timely fulfillment of the obligations towards any of the company’s stakeholders;
- Take care of the organization and ensure the reflection of the achievements and economic results based on the preparation of the financial statements;
- Ensure the preparation of the monthly closing works of the revenue and expenditure budgets and the calculation of the main economic-financial indicators: the balance sheet, the profit and loss account, the statement of cash flows, the notes to the annual accounts;
- Represent the company in the relations with the central and local authorities and especially with the Financial Administration, Auditors and other external partners;
- Organize, manage and control the annual general inventory;
- Elaborate and submit for approval the report on the general annual inventory of the patrimony, the capitalization and the registration in accounting of its results;
- Ensures the strict observance of the legal provisions regarding the integrity of the patrimony in its own field of activity (external) and to take all the legal measures for its reinstatement in case it has been damaged;
- Maintains contact with banks and other external financial institutions;
- Permanently follows the legislation in the external financial-accounting field and ensure its observance;
- Coordinates the team and actively participate in solving the team’s tasks; capacity to organize the workplace while maintaining a favorable climate for the fulfillment of work tasks;
- Obligation to prevent and refuse operations that contravene the legal provisions;
- Promote mutual respect, collaboration and transparency of the activity, as well as not to prejudice the activity, in the relations with other departments, as well as in the relations with the persons outside the company.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 5 years proven experience as Financial Leadership Role in a 5-10 mil euro revenue company;
- Good background and knowledge in financial, controlling and accounting operations;
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices;
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods, expertise in cost monitoring and proactive Budgeting and Forecasting;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, ERP type tools and financial reporting software;
- Long time experience in supplier auditing and contract management;
- Excellent operating skills in Excel and ERP-SAP systems;
- Proficient in English; German knowledge is an advantage;
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization;
- Strong problem solving and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis;
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner, high level of integrity;
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
