Psihoselect is conducting the recruitment process for a partner company that is an integrator offering solutions, including renewable energy services, design and execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing for the position of:
SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Location: Bucharest
Role: Senior Financial Controller acting as a strategic Finance Business Partner, responsible for reporting and operational financial management. The role demands advanced proficiency in project-based accounting and the analytical rigor required to facilitate executive decision-making through high-level financial modeling.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the data collection and modeling process for the Annual Budget and provide analytical support for the 5-year Business Plan;
- Draft and review internal procedures under CFO supervision, focusing on Revenue Recognition, WIP (Work in Progress) computation, and provisioning;
- Design and maintain reporting dashboards;
- Calculate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with corporate objectives;
- Support the 13-week rolling cash flow forecast to ensure optimal liquidity monitoring;
- Provide dedicated support for projects in financial and controlling areas, ensuring rigorous monitoring of project costs, margins, and performance;
- Support execution of financial planning by preparing and supporting performance and strategy meetings of relevant stakeholder;
- Function as a dedicated finance business partner, maintaining close contact with operational teams to ensure financial alignment with operational activities;
- Develop comprehensive business cases and perform ad-hoc financial analysis to provide actionable insights for senior management’s strategic decisions.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- 3-4 years of experience within a Big 4 or Mid-tier (Audit or TAS) or a similar high-intensity corporate reporting environment;
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to maintain a “big picture” perspective while ensuring technical accuracy;
- University degree in Finance/Accounting;
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory;
- Previous exposure to the construction industry or a high capacity for rapid learning of project-based accounting;
- Objective-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic;
- Ability to facilitate and contribute to corporate culture transformation;
- Minimum average level of professional autonomy and accountability.
