We are in a dynamic economy, strongly influenced by digitalization and the effects of pandemics. But we are adapting quickly, finding solutions with today’s needs in mind but also looking to the future.
I had the honor to host an event organized by DWNT and CFAC – the two business clubs – German and French – with valuable and dear to my heart guests. We talked about the Revolution 4.0 but especially about what Education 4.0 means from the companies’ perspective.
In the business environment we have started to actively contribute to skills training, being aware that the speed of evolution in the labor market is much faster than the response of the formal education system.
- What is the role of education in society?
- How do we prepare our future employees in Romania? What are good practices and the dual system implemented by German companies?
- Can we match the need for skills in companies with what the education system delivers?
- How to ensure the competitiveness of the Romanian education system?
Invited guests – in alphabetical order:
Mihai Boldijar, Managing Director Robert Bosch SRL, Bosch Group Representative in Romania and Bulgaria
Pascal Fesneau, General Manager Pfeiffer Vacuum Romania, Honorary Consul of France in Cluj
Stefan Pălărie, Chairman of the Senate Labor Committee and member of the Education Committee
Daniel Metz, Chairman of the Board of Directors NTT DATA Romania
Prof. Univ. dr. Mircea Miclea, Psychologist, entrepreneur, former Minister of Education
Finally, we have generated solutions for a dynamic education system that meets the needs of the labor market.
Drag,
Claudia
