Psihoselect is recruiting for a multinational partner company, specialized in automation for the following position:
CNC FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
Location: CLUJ / ALBA / SIBIU COUNTY
Role: Primary customer service contact and responsible for communication and resolution of customer service needs. Apply electrical and electronic theory, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related knowledge, to install, test, and maintain the CNC and Robot Machine system to the customer location.
Essential Functions:
- Perform a wide variety of tasks associated with servicing, repairing and operation of CNC machine tools;
- Use manufacturer technical documentation and precision test equipment to analyze, troubleshoot and repair complex CNC problems;
- Work closely with customers, and internal clients;
- Independently organize and complete a successful service call;
- Assist other service engineers and preventive maintenance technicians of the customers;
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitry at PCB level. Perform a variety of advanced specialized machine tool repair processes;
- Identify, repair or replace damaged CNC modules;
- First time power up and troubleshoot of machines;
- Servo system tuning;
- Report activities and expenses timely and accurately;
- Train other employees for advancement;
- Train customers on operation and diagnosis of CNC control systems;
- Keep work area neat, clean and organized.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 2 years in as a service engineer position in machine tool field service, maintenance roles in production environment or related positions;
- University degree in electronic engineering or related field of study-experience may be substituted with education specialization;
- Advanced machine tool knowledge and terminology;
- Complete knowledge of electronic systems and components;
- Full understanding of multiple machine tool specifications and advanced knowledge in testing;
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Conversational English level;
- Proactive, result and goal oriented, and problem-solving attitude;
- High degree of initiative, independent thinking and creative problem-solving skills;
- Ability and eagerness to learn new skills;
- Ability to interact with and company’s clients and to present in a professional manner;
- Ability to adapt to changing internal and external circumstances, and moreover openness to new ideas;
- Customer and service orientation: anticipating specified (and unspecified) needs of clients, ability to translate those needs into concrete actions in a commercially advantageous way for both sides;
- Computer skills: technical communication, fluent computer literacy, ERP type tools;
- Driving license category B.
