Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the
following position:
SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Location: CLUJ / BRASOV
Role: As Sales & Business Development Engineer you will be responsible forProvide a mix of strategic and tactical solutions in a business-to-business selling environment. The role focuses on acquiring, penetrating, managing and retaining customers in a regional marketplace. Being focused on completing team goals will be a critical aspect of achieving performance for the success of our overall business.
Essential Functions:
- Cultivate and support new business growth in the assigned territory;
- Customize targeted benefits and effectively trial and sell the company products and value propositions to the pulp and paper industry;
- Provide ongoing account management and service to the customers, including educating and consulting with customers to manage ongoing product use;
- Work closely with other members of company field sales/service group, product management, production, logistics personnel, and management on issues relating to the development of products and all aspects of customer support;
- Calling the clients from the staff and management levels to: researchers & lab technicians, process engineers & operations staff, maintenance & facilities managers, professional purchasing agents and corporate executives;
- Manages pipeline proactively, recognizing customers stage in the decision cycle, maintains appropriate level of new opportunities;
- Expand geographical coverage through new channel relationships and customers;
- Lead field service / trial teams at your customer sites. The company’s trials are typically supported by 4-5 people so others will join in your trials. You will also join in trials in other countries, both for support and since this is highly valuable training;
- It’s expected to travel to customer sites as needed, with travel likely each week. It would be expected to be at a customer site 3-4 days per week with week-long trials involving on-site engagement throughout the period. There would be some trips outside of Romania, as well;
- Supports the growth of the company having a full engagement also regarding other task necessary for customer development.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- 3-5 years experience in consultative sales on B2B level;
- + 5 years experience in sales positions;
- Bachelor degree in engineering/ chemistry/ mechanical or related technical fields;
- Consistent work experience in industrial sales, pulp & paper sales, chemical sales or equipments in other industries is a suitable background;
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent consulting skills;
- Proficiency in English;
- Excellent skills for building and maintaining partnership relationships;
- Strong, engaging and persuasive presentation skills that translate to sales;
- Demonstrated skill in creating meaningful charts, graphs and presentations using MS Office tools;
- High degree of professionalism, maturity and motivation;
- Ability to work successfully both alone and in groups;
- Creatively pursues the goal and not just a task that has been specified;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
- Driving license category B.
