Psihoselect performs the recruitment and selection process for a partner company, which is activating in FMCG industry for the the following position:
INTERNATIONAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
WORK MODEL & LOCATION: REMOTE, ROMANIA
Role: The International Key Account Manager is responsible for building, managing and developing the international market, from strategic approach to operational level, starting with the current customer base experience. Developing markets means also to evaluate the potential of national market and identifying new business opportunities.
Essential Functions:
- Directing and coordinating activities involving sales of the company’s family products according to the sales strategy developed together with the management team;
- Assessing market potential of new and existing customers;
- Managing directly a portfolio of key accounts from contract to delivery follow up;
- Responsible for achieving channel objectives, KPIs and targets at assigned key customers;
- Attracts new customers in a manner that will achieve short and long-term, profitable growth at the account;
- Identifying sales opportunities, networking, fact-finding and calling on and closing new accounts;
- Identifying new sales opportunities with existing accounts;
- Identifying and capturing potential new customers to develop new business opportunities in FMCG industry;
- Develop strong relationships with multiple senior stakeholders with a consultative approach;
- Tailor opportunities available, creating strong partnership propositions with FMCG type B2B customers;
- Identifying and securing new sales opportunities with potential for developing into key accounts;
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales;
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability;
- Represent company at international fairs and trade association meetings to promote products;
- Contributes to the company team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- 3+ years experience in a key account manager role or similar position, with solid experience of selling directly to international customers;
- Good knowledge of FMCG industry type products – food products is a distinct advantage;
- BSc degree in relevant field and English language – proficiency level;
- Track record of driving dynamic sales growth through opening and developing key accounts internationally;
- Solid negotiation skills and strong account management, networking and relationship building skills in a multinational environment;
- Experience in managing contracts and agreements;
- Self-starter and excellent analytical and data driven problem solver via collaboration;
- Willingness to listen, learn and incorporate other ideas into all aspects of the job;
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated, creative and energetic, brings new ideas to the team;
- Open management style, team player, works with colleagues;
- Inspires confidence, able to form and develop professional relationships international customers;
- Availability to travel as needed.
