BRAND MANAGER
Location – Bucharest
Role: A fast-growing and successful company within the Romanian small domestic appliances with various premium Brand Portfolios is now looking for a commercially-savvy, highly driven, and ambitious marketer who is ready to take the role of Brand Manager. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will involve setting the country’s product category growth strategy for the assigned brands.
Essential Functions:
• Brand Strategy: Develop and implement brand strategies that align with overall business objectives and market trends, drive end-to-end brand projects, being able to coordinate & influence cross-functional teams. Performing in-depth data analysis of Market Data, Sales Data and forecast;
• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities;
• Campaign Management: Develop a company strategy for growing the assigned categories by focusing on Distribution, Merchandising, Shelving, and Pricing (DSMP) fundamentals and translating them into actionable sales initiatives. Plan and oversee marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand’s message and values;
• Brand Development: Manage the development and execution of branding initiatives, including messaging, and promotional materials, define and execute ad-hoc activation campaigns and in-store activities that translate into increased sales (mix and volumes), and market share growth;
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure brand alignment across all channels;
• Performance Analysis: Monitor brand performance metrics and consumer feedback to assess the effectiveness of brand strategies and campaigns;
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximum ROI;
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate brand vision and strategy to internal stakeholders and ensure alignment with overall company goals;
• Brand Guidelines: Establish and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field;
• Relevant experience of 5+ years in Brand Management within a similar industry with proven business and retail understanding are prerequisites;
• Proven experience with various digital communication platforms;
• The ability to connect and build networks vertically and horizontally across the organization, with a strong drive to influence positively, is essential, but also to work independently and result-oriented;
• Entrepreneurial mindset, team spirit approach, flexibility and proactiveness represent fundamental competencies of the candidate;
• English knowledge is essential, both written and spoken fluently;
• Strong understanding of brand development and marketing principles;
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms;
• Creative problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
