Psihoselect is recruiting for a multinational partner company, specialized in automation for the following position:
TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT ENGINEER
Location: CLUJ
Role: Technical Sales Support Engineer is responsible for customer support, training of OEM manufacturers using the company products and create or evaluate the machine configurations (BOMs). Moreover, this position is a support of Sales and Operation departments with parts/configuration specification.
Essential Functions:
- Customer support, technical supervising and approving of the company products customization based on customer needs;
- Evaluate customer requirements, assist in connecting customer needs when making an offer;
- Work on installations and programming of the company products;
- Create and/or evaluate of machine configurations (BOMs);
- Support of Sales and Operation departments with parts/configuration specification ad prepare answers/comments for coming and ongoing sales projects regarding technical feasibility;
- Check and suggest application layout;
- Support exhibitions from technical point of view and OEM education;
- Learn, test and implement the latest software and hardware option releases;
- Communication to Sales and Marketing departments about new features products;
- Support for internal projects about products presentations, shows and development of attractive solutions;
- Conduct pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposals;
- Make accurate cost estimates, write engineering reports, and interpret plans and specifications;
- Develop/implement custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, laser and other industrial robots;
- Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company;
- Disponibility to travel in OEM customers area and main European sites of the company.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- At least 3 years experience as Maintenance Engineer, Process Engineer, Automation Engineer, Molding Process Engineer or related positions in plastic injection machines;
- University degree in Technical fields;
- Advanced machine tool knowledge and terminology;
- On-site support experience and excellence knowledge of electrotechnics, programming, electrical service and mechanical works;
- Fluency in English – technical terminology;
- Self learning and problem-solving attitude;
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, ERP type tools;
- Strong interpersonal skills and hands-on attitude;
- Driver’s licence in Category B.
