Psihoselect is conducting the recruitment process for a well-established company operating in the industrial manufacturing sector, recognized for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and high-quality standards, for the position of:
GENERAL MANAGER
Location: Cluj Napoca
Role: The General Manager will be responsible for delivering customer requirements within the expected market lead times, ensuring high-quality products are manufactured in a safe and compliant work environment. The role also involves fostering and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and project management across the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Will work closely with the companies’ shareholders, having full responsibility for profitability, strategic development and operational efficiency;
- Cultivate and support new business growth;
- Manages pipeline proactively, recognizing customers’ stage in the decision cycle, maintains appropriate level of new opportunities;
- Expand geographical coverage through new channel relationships and customers;
- Supports the growth of the company having a full engagement also customer development actions în order to increase the resales process;
- Taking part in risk assessments during the sales process for offers;
- Lead and coordinate the following functions: Production workshops, Maintenance, Programming& Supply Chain and HR;
- Lead, manage and develop employees on his subordination;
- Responsible for the fulfilment of all customer demand within market expected lead time, quality and appropriate total cost;
- Responsibility for the timely delivery of products sold and designed at best costs and with high and agreed upon quality;
- Promote a customer centric mindset to support the sales increase to ensure the EBIT margin targets are met;
- Follow up and report KPI and action plans for all operations activities and projects;
- Comply with legal rules of Environment, Health and Safety;
- Participate, read and sign “CCM” and “ROI”;
- Promote a professional project management culture;
- Develop and support the implementation of more efficient technical, organizational procedures;
- Will manage the annual budget, investment plan and support regulated performance reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Executive in Sales Operations Management preferably in a production environment with relevant experience and skills in establishing and reorganizing an operation unit;
- + 7 years’ experience in sales operations in B2B type customers, technical/mechanical knowledge represents highly advantage;
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or economics or related fields;
- Solid business and technical acumen, with customer-orientation and entrepreneurial spirit;
- Background in manufacturing and assembly firms, ideally small to medium-sized, is highly desired;
- The ability to communicate fluently in Romanian and English verbally and in writing is essential;
- Hands-on and assertive team-player, with results-oriented and cost-conscious management style;
- Focused on results and execution-oriented person;
- Strong ability to plan, organize, and prioritize;
- Some experience in the application of ERP – based methods needed.
