Psihoselect is recruiting for a multinational partner company, specialized in production for the following position:
HEAD OF FINANCE
Location – Sibiu
Role: of a Head of Finance will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, and Group relationship. As a key member of the management team, the Head of Finance will report to the Group CFO and CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.
Essential Functions:
- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team;
- Providing strategic recommendations to the local GM and members of the executive management team;
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting;
- Advising on long-term business and financial planning;
- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders;
- Monitor and direct strategic business plans;
- Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with applicable regulatory legislation for financial and tax reporting;
- Manage financial controls and accounting procedures;
- Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company;
- Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs;
- Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner;
- Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained;
- Develop financial and tax strategies;
- Oversee all transactions and processing systems;
- Implement operational best practices;
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities;
- Support the local GM with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans;
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements auditors and government agencies;
- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the Group;
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 5 years experience as Head of Finance or relevant Financial Leadership Role;
- Strong background and knowledge of business roles in private companies;
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices;
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods;
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization;
- Strong problem solving and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis;
- Proficiency in English; German knowledge is a big advantage;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, ERP type tools and financial; reporting software, SAP knowledge is highly valuable, as experienced user;
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner, high level of integrity.
