B2B CHANNEL MANAGER
Location: Bucuresti
Role: The B2B Channel Manager is maintaining a thorough knowledge of the business and offerings, developing, and implementing strategic plans to grow B2B accounts, managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts;
- Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships, develop partnerships with Key partners for projects (public/private);
- Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio;
- Support and manage the business strategy of assigned portfolio of SMB product line (Access Points with centralized management, managed switches, business routers, PoE switches, surveillance solutions), to ensure fulfilment of monthly/quarterly/yearly sales objectives, according with the Department Manager’s strategy;
- Identify business opportunities with and manage a selected number of SMB partners/VAD/VAR/SI;
- Identify, develop and generate new business opportunities for SMB product line (Access Points with centralized management, managed switches, business routers, PoE switches, surveillance solutions), by promoting the company’s product range;
- Drives post-promotion analysis, in conjunction with data management, following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness;
- Provides consulting to identify the needs of customers based on the company’s portfolio, offering commercial solutions / technically compliant;
- Develop other methods to increase SMB product line awareness and sales volumes;
- Establish and develop training plans (technical / commercial) for SMB partners; workshops/webinars;
- Create proposal for assigned accounts with relevant info and price quotes;
- Providing superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction;
- Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions;
- Work closely with relevant departments/colleagues (marketing, technical and RMA), to ensure efficient operation in terms of product availability, delivery and after sales service;
- Identifying opportunities for improvement of internal processes;
- Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of the business, offerings, competitors, and industry;
- Prepare sales forecast according to sales account portfolio analysis and sustain the implementation;
- Customizes sales pitch to achieve account goals while driving effective displays;
- Ensure partners have positive experience by communicating effectively pre and post sales process;
- Performs various reports at the request of general/department manager, for a clear business image.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- 3-5 years of experience with business development, sales or account management;
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Experience in sales or presales positions in IT integrators, hardware or surveillance industry;
- Experience selling products like Access Points with centralized management, managed switches, business routers, PoE switches, surveillance solutions, is an advantage;
- General knowledge about the reseller channel/partners, system integrators and surveillance companies/distributors;
- Expertise in providing solutions, not only products, based on customer needs;
- Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources, able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions;
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize;
- Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure;
- Applicable knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions;
- Proficiency using ERP Systems and Microsoft Office Programs and other relevant database programs, CRM type tools;
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
- Positive result driven and hands on attitude.
