AN EFFICIENT EVALUATION METHOD

The Psihoselect assessment and development center came as a natural need, because we always wanted to find evaluation methods that would provide real help to the company, but also to employees and candidates. Before completing this center, we have started a rigorous research process to make sure that we create a truly productive service. The subject was of real interest to Psihoselect, as Claudia Indreica also wrote a doctoral thesis on"Developing and implementing assessment centers as a method of personnel selection". In a market assaulted by many evaluation tests that do not produce the answers sought by HR teams or managers, we come with a new tool built on solid principles.

The assessment methods within the center are complex and are adapted to the purpose for which it was created. To promote or select managers, to diagnose training needs or develop employee skills.

As a specific feature, this method involves several evaluators, and individuals from the top management or the HR team of the organization can also participate. All evaluators will be thoroughly trained for this role.

A range of dimensions can be measured, depending on the organization's needs: communication, analysis and synthesis skills, planning and organization, ability to delegate, flexibility and adaptability, initiative and pro activity, willingness to learn, strategic thinking and innovation. There are other dimensions that can be measured and will be chosen according to the organization's need - business talent, technical knowledge, ability to hire and fire people, managerial courage, ability to form successful teams, fast decision making, relationship with other departments or with the outside environment, conflict management or remote management.

Most assessment centers have been implemented with HR teams at the level of Transylvanian organizations. The center does not belong to a specific location, as it is made for an organization, for internal teams or as a way of evaluating the selected candidates for a new position.
