Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in manufacturing high-performance concrete building elements, for the following position:
CONTROLLING & REPORTING MANAGER
Location: Cluj County
Role:
Manage revenue and related expense reporting for Business Units, thereby ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of results, comparative analysis and commentary to senior management. Understand business/economic/environmental drivers of Actual results versus Operating Plan and Forecast. Ensure financial planning processes for revenue and direct expenses – strategically capture, carefully estimate and skillfully communicate business impacting events.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets
- Provides financial analyses as needed, for each project;
- Provides direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and use of financial resources;
- Analyzes the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed;
- Advises management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions;
- Maximizes return and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances;
- Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans;
- Achieves budget objectives, analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions;
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data;
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls;
- Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors;
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Business/Financial controller;
- 3+ years finance experience;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline;
- Experience with IFRS reporting framework;
- Excellent Excel skills, MS Access and administration skills;
- Relevant skills in accounting;
- Abilities to understand complex operational processes;
- Experience in Project Management in financial statements represents an advantage;
- Experience with creating financial statements;
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close reports;
- Proficiency in English;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills;
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team.
