PsihoselectĀ performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position:
CONTROLLING MANAGER
Location ā Mures County
Role: Leads the entire control team, overseeing all activities. The Controlling Manager plays an important role in the business by controlling the finance department for the purpose of developing efficiency with a view of optimizing the businessās profitability. He ensures that all financial activities, records, and indicators in the business accurately represent the businessās financial state of affairs.
Essential Functions:
ā¢ Responsible for providing reports on the performance of the sites, getting involved in defining action plans;
ā¢ Acting as member of the management committee;
ā¢ Coordinating the controlling team (3 persons);
ā¢ Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed;
ā¢ Analyze areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of organizations;
ā¢ Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts when needed;
ā¢ Prepare reports and recommended solutions to questionable financial conditions;
ā¢ Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data;
ā¢ Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, according to the projects they are allocated;
ā¢ Provide direction and assistance regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources;
ā¢ Monitoring product profitability;
ā¢ Supervise the overall internal reporting, analyzing the costs and relevant indicators;
ā¢ Performs financial analysis and other activities to support the development of financial business plans, budgets and forecasts for medium to long term periods within a complex and / or high-risk business area;
ā¢ Monitors financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met;
ā¢ Monitor investment and ROI requests;
ā¢ Provide support to the management team on overall performance (commercial, industrial, fixed costs, etc.);
ā¢ Involved in defining, implementing, and monitoring projects and action plans;
ā¢ Prepares the annual budget, revisions, business, and strategic plans;
ā¢ Participates in the elaborations of business and strategic plans of various business development projects;
ā¢ Determine depreciation rates to apply to capitalized items and advise management on actions regarding the costs;
ā¢ Supporting the sales department in achieving its objectives;
ā¢ Provide assistance in the development of pricing policy.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
ā¢ Bachelorās Degree in finance/ economics or related discipline;
ā¢ +5 years of experience in a similar controlling/business analyst position;
ā¢ +3 years of experience in management roles, within an industrial/production environment;
ā¢ Demonstrated and proven experience as head of controlling department for multiple sites;
ā¢ Proficiency in English, French represents an advantage;
ā¢ Knowledge of Navision program is a plus;
ā¢ Excellent leadership and management skills;
ā¢ Positive result driven and hands-on attitude;
ā¢ Excellent organizational & analytical skills.
