CONTROLLING & REPORTING MANAGER
Location: CLUJ
Role: The Controlling & Reporting Manager will oversee the financial controlling and reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role involves developing robust financial control systems, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate a controlling team of 4 people, organize their tasks and responsibilities and help the development of the team-members;
- Prepare and present periodic and ad-hoc reports on costs, profitability, efficiency, etc;
- Facilitate internal and external audits for stock information and management reporting data
- Maintain and develop cost control systems, cost structures, reporting procedures;
- Monitor and analyze company costs, perform cost-benefit analysis;
- Calculate, investigate and interpret cost variances;
- Coordination and active involvement in budget preparation and periodic updating, assist senior management in expense forecasting;
- Compare budgeted amounts to actual expenses, helping senior management to monitor and control the costs;
- Research to find opportunities to reduce expenses;
- Cooperate within the Controlling, Accounting and Operations teams in the process of period closing and reporting;
- Calculate, control and analyze industrial KPI’s;
- Lead different projects assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:
- + 3 years working experience in financial activities as Controlling Coordinator, Controlling Manager, Controlling & Reporting Manager, Head of Controlling, Financial Controlling Team Lead/Coordinator;
- + 7 years relevant experience in controlling and reporting roles, in high volume industrial enviroment;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related;
- Has good understanding of accounting principles and procedures;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
- Good ERP Systems knowledge (SAP is an advantage) and reporting tools, MS Office package;
- Good organizational and time-management skills;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
