Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position:
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
Location: BUCHAREST/CLUJ
Role: As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for management of the IKA customer portfolio, maintaining a long-term relationship and maximizing sales. Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with a portfolio of major clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Implements the sales strategy for selected Key Accounts, in collaboration with Sales Manager;
- Participates with The Sales Manager closing the annual contracts with the IKA portfolio, e.g. for product assortment, terms & conditions, marketing support & campaigns;
- Solve all the operational issues within the contracts agreements;
- Monthly and weekly planning forecast at sku level for the designed Key Accounts;
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors strategy;
- Responsible for each Key Account’s performance, product promotion, new product introduction, monitor the market and discounting within agreed costs budget and framework of the business;
- Support ongoing growth with the existing customers and development new business opportunities;
- Participate in annual sales strategy planning;
- Permanent contact with Key Accounts as to maintain and develop a good business relationship;
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements;
- Liaise with trade marketing and product development activities to ensure brand consistency and presence in the market;
- Monitor the competition activity, pricing, placements, promos, packaging;
- Proposes new products portfolio according to market trend and needs, for branded products.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:
- + 2 years of sales experience with key accounts type customers – FMCG field is a plus, knowledge regarding International Key Accounts clients from previous sales interactions;
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields;
- Strong communication skills;
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics;
- Customer-focused, outgoing, problem solver with the ability to work independently;
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills;
- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions;
- Proficiency in English;
- Hands on experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Positive result driven and hands-on attitude.
