Psihoselect performs the recruitment process for a partner company specialized in production for the following position:
MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Location – Cluj County
Role: The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that production equipments run at proper functional indicators. Has an important role in acquisition of spare parts and other maintenance materials and tools, budgetary versus cost reporting.
Essential Functions:
- Effectively solve any maintenance issues on each project to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works;
- Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site
- Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime;
- Develop and apply a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively;
- Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
- Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical systems are undertaken;
- Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spent combined with a strategy to manage expenditure;
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems;
- Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties;
- Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required;
- Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact;
- Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements;
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations for goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets, and specification book;
- Setting the autonomous maintenance function in the production area, actively involved in the process, create, and maintain standards, educate and train employees, control / Audits for Autonomous Maintenance;
- Analysis of the losses – quantity management, process monitoring, Development, and coordination of measures;
- Improvement of operating facilities: organize the continuous improvement of the operating systems in the production area being actively involved. He is responsible for: CAT moderation (CAT`s = TPM small groups as Continuous Action Team`s), develop measures, planning and organizing implementation;
- Different facility management tasks.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- + 1 year experience in a leadership role;
- + 4 years of experience in maintenance engineer positions;
- Relevant engineering degree is requested, mechanical or electric;
- Plant level experience with significant proven maintenance experience;
- Kaizen / Lean tools, 5S, OEE, Knowledge of TPM or comparable;
- Completed a fully experience cycle with a mechanical/ electrical/ electronic issue;
- Technical capability and understanding, correlated with cost and efficiency indicators;
- Experience of managing budget responsibilities for maintenance;
- Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain;
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, ERP tools;
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to analyze, identify issues and propose solutions;
- Positive result driven and hands on attitude.
