STRATEGIC HR MANAGER
Location: Cluj-Napoca
Role: The Strategic HR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a progressive talent strategy in alignment with the vision, values and company development goals, and overall strategic direction. The SHRM serves as a strategic and operational leader who specifically oversees human resources functions including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance management, training and staff development initiatives, policy administration, compensation and benefits design and administration.
Essential Functions:
- Management and oversight of the HR team to ensure that all programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall mission, goals, and development objectives of the company;
- Directly participating in the company planning and decision-making as a member of the leadership team and providing broad leadership and coordination to the HR team;
- Providing high-level, proactive, and aligned HR partnership to the CEO, COO, CTO and other C-level executives for achieving the goals and nurturing the organizational culture;
- The Strategic HR Manager will serve as internal consultant and strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership team on people and culture development;
- Lead, manage, and develop an efficient and highly competent Talent and HR team who serve as valuable partners to the management of the organization, and supportive advocates of effective staff management and development;
- Work closely with the team on human resources initiatives and programs. Oversee and coach work of HR leaders who manage employee relations, HR policies, recruitment, relocation, and compensation and benefits administration;
- Align the talent strategy to be an employer of choice within the industry;
- Guide senior leaders in implementing employee engagement initiatives at organizational, team, and individual employee levels;
- Help set the tone and nurture a collaborative and culturally competent workplace environment and promote a culture of belonging and respect;
- Provide organizational leadership around culture assessment and development, introducing and managing organizational change and development initiatives;
- Build a robust recruitment strategy, focused on companies development goals;
- Provides strategic direction and oversight on compensation and benefits, ensuring regulatory compliance, competitive salary levels necessary to attract and retain qualified staff;
- Directs the development of training and organizational development programs through staff or external consultants that address personal, professional, and organizational needs of employees and departments, supporting equitable opportunities for continuous learning;
- Better utilize data to build scale leadership, talent development plans, and formulate cross-organizational processes to facilitate aligned succession plans;
- Provide coaching/advising of senior leaders on team development and key organizational and management issues. Develop a unified approach and corresponding tools for executive and senior leaders to evaluate, design and align their structures to build high-performing teams;
- Design and align HR strategy, including a talent management strategy, to support the overall mission and strategic framework of the company. Evaluate and redesign the processes, tools, and activities to manage, maintain, and/or improve the performance of employees;
- Development of predictive models, scenario planning, risk analysis and mitigation, integration with strategic planning.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- 8 -10 years relevant working experience in strategic HR roles;
- Proven experience at a senior level of leading and inspiring a successful HR team in a people and service focused organization;
- Strategic understanding, and operational delivery, of people and development agendas and best in class practices covering attraction, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, talent management and organizational change and development including culture change and development;
- Experience of developing and embedding people‐focused strategies to deliver commercial and other business objectives;
- Significant experience of leading organizations, senior managers and teams through organizational change driving a performance culture and developing high performing leaders, employees, and teams;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
- Comfortable using IT tools for daily operations in HR;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills with ability to consult and provide advice to all levels of the organization, to communicate and influence effectively with business partners;
- A role model of collaborative working, valuing, and developing employees;
- Confident and effective communication and engagement;
- High levels of commitment to the achievement of business objectives;
- Articulates a clear vision in the day-to-day delivery of services;
